Overview

This position will handle ALL technical support related to but not limited to Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Copiers, IP Phones, RF Scanners, PC Emulators, Servers, AS400, etc. in our South East Distribution Center, located in Ft Payne, AL.

Qualifications

Business Knowledge and Critical Skills:
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in Windows operating system
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in MS Outlook/Lotus Notes or General E-Mail concepts a MUST
- Must have 1-3 years General Network Protocols Fundamental knowledge (TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, etc)
- Must have prior experience in a VOIP Telecomm Environment
- Must have 3-5 years prior experience in an automated warehouse environment a PLUS
- Must have 3-5 years Manhattan Associates PKMS/WM experience a PLUS
- Must have 1-3 year of structured query language (SQL) for query and report development a PLUS
- Must be able to take direction from multiple supervisors and manage projects and time effectively
- Must have STRONG Communication skills
- Must be resourceful and be able to act as a self sustaining technical resource in a fast paced, challenging environment
 
Required Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor of Arts or Technical College preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Desktop/Whse Systems Support a MUST
- Must have CCNP or 1-3 years equivalent General Networking expertise
- Must have good communication skills

This position is a 40 hour per week position, but will be on call 24 hours in case of emergency and will be required to carry a blackberry and respond to issues remotely via a company supplied laptop.

Responsibilities

- Handle all Level 1-2 Troubleshooting & Configuration of the devices facility computer hardware
- Handle level 1-2 technical support of the warehouse management system (WMS).      WMS support to include but no limited to the following:
- Verifying WMS processes
- Configuration and data integrity utilizing query and file access tools on an AS400
- Coordinate with facilities staff to troubleshoot MHE interface and assist Project Lead’s with configuration and/or database changes.    
- Escalate issues to Sr. Systems Admin as well as be able to escalate to a support staff at corporate to support level 3 issues.
- Works closely with operations and facilities maintenance teams
- Regular communication to internal and external customers
- General Technical Troubleshooting abilities
